Jewell Sanford Sr., age 88, passed away November 15, 2021.
He was born September 21, 1933, to Jesse and Lizzy (Bacum) Sanford in Lovejoy, IL. Jewell proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings; great grandson, Chrishaun Moten.
Jewell is survived by his wife, Geraldine Sanford; children Janice (Alvin) Floyd, Judith Sanford, Donna (Joe) Hampton, Pastor Jewell (Michele) Sanford Jr., Dr. Vergarie Sanford, Barbara Sanford; brother, Henry (Doris) Sanford; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, 2021. Interment is in Omaha National Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
