Joann Kirlin

JoAnn Kirlin, 76, of Walton, Nebraska passed away December 8, 2012 while surrounded by her loving family. JoAnn was born August 16, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Edwin and Regina (Curry) Lehnen. She married Robert L. Kirlin on May 9, 1959. After raising their 4 children in Omaha, they retired to Walton, Nebraska. She enjoyed volunteering at the Eagle Elementary School. She was a member of the Women?s Altar Society of the St. Leo?s Church in Palmyra, Ne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Kirlin. JoAnn is survived by her children Daniel (Jennifer) Kirlin, Kathy (Tim) McNeil, Kerri (David) Hickey and Phillip Kirlin; brother, Larry (Sheryl) Lehnen; 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; cousin, Carletta Casey; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Vigil service will be Thursday 6PM followed by visitation until 8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is Friday 10AM at the St. Francis Worship Center 238 South 6th Street in Council Bluffs. The family will direct memorials.
