Joanne Audrey Bersane

Joanne A. Bersane, age 81, of Council Bluffs passed away October 19, 2014 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Council Bluffs on January 30, 1933 to the late John & Ruth (Petersen) Turner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her; husband, Joseph Bersane Jr.; sons, Joseph Bersane and Jerry Bersane; daughters, Jean Boner and Jennifer Bersane; siblings, Dorothy Tomasello, Margaret Wheeler, Betty Peterson, Jack Turner and Alice Turner. Joanne is survived by significant other Clifford Guild, children, John Bersane, Joanne Rich (Bob Sr.), Joyce Muell (Richard), Julie Lee (Richard), Janet Ronk (Richard), Jo Lene Gray (Michael), Jenny Pech (Douglas), Jamie Theisen (Joe), Jill Bersane; siblings, Chuck Turner, Delbert Turner (Joyce), Kenneth Turner (Linda), Melvin Turner, Clifford Turner, Rosalee Oliver, Kathleen Williamson; grandchildren and great children. Visitation is Sunday 5-7PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
