Jodee Geick

JoDee Geick, age 79, of Council Bluffs passed away at her home on May 12, 2017.

She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on May 10, 1938 to the late Wilmer and Margaret (Abbott) Westling. JoDee graduated from Hawarden High School and then Iowa Western Community College. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Mark Geick.

JoDee is survived by her husband of 60 years, Melvin Geick; sons, Vance Geick and Steven Geick; grandchildren, Brandon Hanson, Sara Geick, Clayton Geick and Tyler Geick; great grandchildren, Braydon and Dalton Geick; brothers, Jerry Westling (Mary) and Garry Westling.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is 10:00a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center – 2303 Butler Street in Council Bluffs.
