John Darwin Points

John Darwin Points, age 100, passed away November 23, 2015 at his residence in Council Bluffs. He was born on October 17, 1915 in Honey Creek, Iowa to the late John and Maude (Spencer) Points. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella May (Smith) Points; son; John R. Points; and daughter, Sharon James. He is survived by daughters, Patricia Parks, Carol Morgal, Mary Jo (Duane) Chunka, Connie Meyers, and Tonya Stutheit; 34 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and his loving dog, Jack. Visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial Service Monday, 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. A luncheon to follow the burial in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. Memorials may be directed to the family.
