John “Jack” Reikofski

John F. “Jack” Reikofski, age 83, passed away February 19, 2019.

He was born near Tilden, Nebraska on June 22, 1935 to the late Martin and Mildred (Carpenter) Reikofski. John was a longtime resident of Council Bluffs and was a self-employed contractor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Reikofski; sister, Joyce Goldsberry; grandchildren, Dene and Zachariah.

John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane Reikofski; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christy Reikofski; granddaughter, Heather Reikofski; great grandchild, Huxley Reikofski; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Agnes Reikofski; nieces, nephews and a great many friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is 10:00a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in Garner Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
