John M. "Mike" Drake

John M. “Mike” Drake, age 66, of Council Bluffs passed away September 19, 2017 after a brief illness.

He was born in Council Bluffs on November 4, 1950 to John C. and Lou Ann (Toelle) Drake. Mike graduated from Missouri Valley High School with the class of 1970 and worked at Wynne Transport.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mike is survived by his spouse, Rhonda Drake; children, Tami Duggan (Gare), Steven Dickinson (Jere); mother, Lou Ann Drake; siblings, Jim Drake (Jane), Pam McIntosh (Bruce), Jodee Soto (Ruben); grandchildren, Damien, Brianne, Kara, Gerald, Elizabeth, Jordan, EmmaGrace; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Bridget Cemetery – Honey Creek. The family will direct memorials.
