John Michael "Kritter" Kritenbrink

December 1, 1949 — August 5, 2019

John Michael Kritenbrink, also known as Mike or Kritter, passed away on August 5, 2019 at his home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on December 1, 1949 to the late Arthur and Evelyn (Miller) Kritenbrink. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was then an electrician for the Union Pacific Railroad.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; sister, Rita Zych; and three brothers, Thomas, Mark, and James Kritenbrink.

He is survived by his brother, Arthur Kritenbrink (Jean); sisters, Darcy Featherstone (Charles), Evelyn Kritenbrink; sister-in-law, Denise Kritenbrink; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service is Friday, 11:00 a.m., at the Omaha National Cemetery.
