John Plak

John E. Plak, age 77, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home on November 27, 2024.

He was born November 13, 1947, to the late Rudolph and Jane (Stabler) Plak in Dayton, OH. John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and then worked at Offutt Air Force Base as a civilian engineer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael.

John is survived by his daughter, Michelle Mary Plak; brothers, Jim (Cheryl) Plak and Jerry Plak; grandchildren, Michelle Mary Jr. Riley., Stephanie (Brandon) Walker, Jacob Pruitt and Jessica Pruitt; great grandchildren, Michelle Mary III Riley, Adrianna Walker, and Madeline Riley; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 04, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Interment is in the Omaha National Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
