Josephine A. Corrin

Josephine Corrin, age 96, passed away August 25, 2021. She was born April 19, 1925 to William and Lorretto (Cavanaugh) Denning in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised in Shelby, Iowa and later moved to Neola with her husband Wallace. Josephine enjoyed sewing, playing cards with her lady club, flowers and attending all her grandchildren's events. Her pride and joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Wallace Corrin; son, Walter Corrin; son-in-law, Richard Wendt; siblings, Mary Corrine Sweeney, Gene Denning and Michael Denning.


Josephine is survived by children, Connie (Michael) Caskey, Wayne (Theresa) Corrin, William (Sue) Corrin and Kevin (Chrystal) Corrin; siblings, Bernard (Martha) Denning, Leon McCarthey, Pauline Fischer, Angela McDonald and Kathleen (Mike) Dermody; sisters-in-law, Eileen Denning and Barbara Corrin; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.


Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 215 N 7th St, Missouri Valley, IA on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Interment will be held at Neola Cemetery.
