Joyce C. Cowan

Joyce Cowan, age 50, passed away August 25, 2021. She was born December 25, 1970 to Charles and Marilyn (Black) Hexom in Hamburg, Iowa. Joyce enjoyed reading. Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Robin.

Joyce is survived by husband of 32 years, Gary Cowan; children, Cortney (Jarred) Gillenwater, Joshua (Jacqueline) Cowan and Andrew Cowan; mother, Marilyn Hexom; siblings, Charlene (Tobby) Townsend, Marla Fernandez, Tamara (John) Holsapple and Margaret (Steve) Waugh; grandchildren, Braxton Gillenwater, Levi Gillenwater, Andi Cowan, Eoin Cowan, Claira Gillenwater, Phoebe Cowan and Ezekiel Cowan; a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, August 30, 2021.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, August 30, 2021.

Interment will be held at Malvern Cemetery.

The family will direct memorials.
