June Helen Fairman Crouse, age 76 passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in Omaha after a brief battle with cancer. She was born to Helen & Kenneth Fairman on July 9, 1935. She was raised near Lake Manawa and attended Manawa Elementary and worked at Witthauer?s Sale Barn. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1953, June married and raised two children, Mike & Patti. She worked for several local banks and eventually retired from Mercy Hospital as the business manager. June was an active member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. She loved to play cards with her monthly ?pitch? card club. She was preceded in death by her mother & step-father, Helen & Merle Witthauer; father, Kenneth Fairman; step-brother, Richard Witthauer and her beloved cat, Floyd. June is survived by her family that she cherished and enjoyed the most, son & daughter-in-law, Mike Crouse daughter, Patti McAtee; granddaughters, Kelley & Kristy McAtee, Candy Heyer; great grandchildren, Izabelle, Gabrielle and Jacob Landon; brother & sister-in-law, Stuart & Georgiann Crouse; sister-in-law, Patti Witthauer; aunt, Mary Ruth Fairman Cullicott; uncle & aunt, Art & Marilyn Anderson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is Wednesday 5:30-8PM with special remarks at 7:30PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home Thursday morning at 10AM to go in procession to Cedar Lawn Cemetery for a graveside service. A reception will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
