Karen L. Sturgill

Karen L. Sturgill, age 77, of Council Bluffs passed away May 28, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in McClelland, Iowa on July 20, 1938 to the late Emil J. Jake and Helen C. (Barnes) Wilson. Karen is survived by her husband, Dennis Sturgill; children, Kristi Perrigo and her husband Bill, Curt Whittington and his wife Sandy, Shelly Whittington, Marty Whittington; step-son, Dana Sturgill and his wife Susan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Gary Mathias, Sondie and Terry Green; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Hanson House.
