Katharine Jane Brockman-Whitbeck

Katharine Jane Brockman-Whitbeck, age 76, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away September 24, 2015 at her home. She was born December 8, 1938 in Treynor, Iowa to the late Otto and Lena (Neighbors) Brockman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Whitbeck and son, James Whitbeck. Katharine is survived by her daughter, Tammy Prine and husband George; son, Chuck Whitbeck; sister, Phyllis DeLong; brothers, Jerry Brockman and wife Sally, and John Brockman and wife Sharon; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends. Visitation Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
