Kathleen A. Wolfe

Kathleen A. Wolfe, age 70, of Council Bluffs passed away at her home on September 10, 2018.

She was born in Tilden, Nebraska on January 20, 1948 to the late Dean and Ruth (Schnoor) Galyen. Kathy was a member of First Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie Galyen and sister, Joline Preister.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 51 years, David; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Nicole Wolfe; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Matt Ferguson; brothers, Lyle Galyen (Peggy), Jerry Galyen; sister, Jacque Hansen; grandchildren, Ben, Abigail, Haley, Hannah, Zachary and Mallory; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00a.m. on Friday at the First Christian Church – 20794 Hwy 92 in Council Bluffs. Interment is in Omaha National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials toward causes that Kathy shared a passion.
