Kelly Sharp

Kelly Lewis Sharp, age 61, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on April 10, 2025, at Mercy Hospital.

He was born on April 30, 1963, Kelly was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was known for his love of collecting and his talent for fixing anything that needed mending. Whether he was out canoeing or sitting quietly by a campfire-what he fondly called a "cowboy's movie"-Kelly found peace in life's simple pleasures.

Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Sharp; his children, Jeremy (Melanie) Sharp and their children Alex and Anna, Michael Sharp, and Ashley (Justin) Leftridge and their sons Lewis and Theo; niece, Courtney Promnitz and her daughter Julia.

Kelly is also survived by his stepdaughters: Kelly Rickard, and her children Hailey, Sadie, Harper, and Dominic, Jessica (Tracy) Points, and her son Joseph "JJ", and stepsons: Jason (Penny) Chesley and Michael Thomaier and his son Ashton.

Kelly leaves behind his father-in-law, Carl Thomaier as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A private memorial will be held by the family in his honor.
