Kenneth L. Marshall

Kenneth L. Marshall, age 93 of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away April 16, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 9, 1920 in Dadeville, Missouri to the late James S. & Alice M. (Rainey) Marshall. Kenneth served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. Prior to the service he worked for the Civilian Conservation Corp. After the War he worked for the Milwaukee Rail Road and then the original Bluffs Electric, later known as Interstate Electric. Kenneth retired from Wonderwhere Electric in their sales department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sibling, Mary Cleo Marshall, John Kyle Marshall, Roy Rainey Marshall, James Ralph Marshall, Alice Blanche Marshall-McConnell. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Anna Barbara (Schmidt); children, James L. & Maxine Marshall, John R. & Diane Marshall, Barbara A. Schlott, Dan W. Marshall, Geri E. & Mike Maness, Carol L. & Doug Lant, Kenneth P. Marshall, Mary P. Marshall; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Rosary recitation Thursday 5:30 p.m. followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow the mass in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter?s Catholic Church, St. Albert Schools or Children?s Square USA.
