Kenneth R. Brundidge

Kenneth R. Brundidge, age 74, of Council Bluffs passed away January 25, 2016 at the Nebraska Medical Center. He was born in Oakland, Iowa on September 19, 1941 to the late Donald and Dorothy (Hamilton) Brundidge. Kenneth graduated from Oakland, Iowa High School and then attended Dana College for undergraduate studies. He graduated from UNO with a Masters Degree in Deaf Education. Kenneth taught at Iowa School for the Deaf before retiring in 1999. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Wohlers. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Karen Brundidge; sons and daughters-in-law, Kendall and Jayme Brundidge, Kurtis and Sasha Brundidge; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Bob Kullbom; grandchildren, Blake, Ava, Liam, Ila, Vada and Pierson. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment will be later that afternoon in the Carson, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
