Kevin James Thompson

Kevin James Thompson, age 21, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away July 5, 2013. He was born December 13, 1991 to Richard Thompson and Shelly Wood in Phoenix, Arizona. Kevin was proud of his Hopi Navajo heritage. He was active in Judo and Ninjutsu. Kevin also enjoyed hunting, paintballing and playing blackjack. He rode his motorcycle on a regular basis and was a member of the Legion Riders. He was preceded by his paternal grandmother (So’oh), Doris Redford; uncle Christopher Thompson. Kevin is survived by his mother, Shelly Wood; father, Richard Thompson; sister, Courtney Thompson; maternal grandparents, Roger & Jean Frieze; paternal grandfather, David Thompson; nephew, Jett Burk and many other family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Garner Township Cemetery. Following the committal service a luncheon will be held in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
