Larry Joe Gascoigne

Larry J. Gascoigne Sr., age 78, of Council Bluffs passed away August 5, 2017 at CHI Mercy Hospital.

He was born November 13, 1938 to the late Joseph and Doris Gascoigne. Larry graduated from North High in Omaha and was a career welder. He was a longtime racecar owner and car enthusiast. Larry enjoyed bowling and fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lu Ann Peterson; brothers, Gary and James Gascoigne.

Larry is survived by his wife, Darlene Gascoigne; sons, Joe Gascoigne (Marie) and Dennis Gascoigne (Lori); step-children, Al Rubio (Kelly), Michelle Palen (Jack), Mark Rubio, Carolyn Lopez (Mike), Angela Rubio; brother, Robert Gascoigne; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery.
