Larry M. French

Larry M. French, age 71, passed away March 5, 2018. He was born December 23, 1946 in Omaha, to Franklin “Pat” and Marion French.

Larry graduated from ALHS with the class of 1965. He served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1969. He was with the Council Bluffs Fire Department for 27 years before retiring as a Captain.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pat French and brother, David French.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana French; son, Matthew French (Megan); grandchildren, Maddie and Meredith; mother, Marion French; and sister, Sherry French.

Visitation Wed., 5-7 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service Thurs., 10:30 a.m., at First Christian Church, in Council Bluffs. Inurnment will be in Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or Deaf Child Hope in Larry’s name.
