Lavonne M. Anderson

LaVonne M. Anderson, age 85, of Council Bluffs passed away December 16, 2016 at Risen Son Christian Village.

She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on September 9, 1931 to the late Clarence L. and Marion J. (Trandahl) Minear. LaVonne worked as a claims clerk for State Farm Insurance.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Anderson; sister, Theo Kelley

LaVonne is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Doug & Connie Anderson, Dennis & Deb Anderson, Rodney & Linda Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Chuck Wakehouse; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Harry Gustafson; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Virginia Minear; grandchildren, Brian Anderson and wife Kris, Scott Anderson and wife Kelly, Kristin Hahne and husband Matt, Chad Anderson, Jamie Petersen and husband Corey, Clint Anderson and wife Melissa, Dustin Anderson and wife Kara, Tim Anderson and wife Dawn, Todd Anderson and wife Cherith, Tamara Hansen and husband Adam, Chelsea Bebout and husband Tyler and Shawna Adolf and her husband Byron; great grandchildren, Blake, Taylor, Rylan, Hadley, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Jordan, Charlie, Sierra, Brooklyn, Jaxton, Hudson, Lucia, Colson, Emily, Grant, Ashlin, Aubrey, Ethan, Elayna, Everett, Rylan, Kennedy and many other family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice with Heart.
