Lawrence Adkins

Lawrence Adkins, 94 years of Council Bluffs, passed away June 22, 2019. He was born in Council Bluffs to John and Lenora (Butts) Adkins February 20, 1925. He proudly served with the United States Army. He was an elementary teacher in the Council Bluffs School System.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Erika Marie Adkins just two years ago and 2 sisters, Joan Ahart and Iris Osborne.

He is survived by his children, Cordula Fisher (Alan), George Adkins (Susan); Rosemarie Adkins, Nicole Taylor (Jeff) and Linda Pauley; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home from 10 to 11AM. Family and friends will then proceed to the Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside service with Military Honors.
