Lawrence G. "Larry" Sealock, age 85, passed away May 7, 2021, at home.
He was born on March 7, 1936 in Council Bluffs to the late Robert B. and Sena (Madison) Sealock. Larry graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army Transportation Training Command in Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Larry was united in marriage to Barbara Willey on June 24, 1966. He worked for OPPD as a supervisor of computer applications retiring in 1992 after 31 years of service. Larry was a lifetime member of Epworth United Methodist church. He loved to hunt, fish, travel, watch Iowa Hawkeye football, invest in the stock market and spending quality time with his family.
Larry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by brothers Truman, Lyall, Everett(Mary), Les(Kate), Leo(Ann), Jerry; sisters, Doris Sealock, Ardyth (Bill) Bryant, Hazel(Jerome) Hall, Evie( Bud)Wilson, Roberta(Tom) Bretz, Bonnie(Bob) Griffin.
Survivors include his wife of almost 55 years, Barbara; children, Natalie( Jess) File of Omaha, Lyall of Salt Lake City, UT, and Brendy( James Nichols) Sealock of Omaha; grandchildren Derrick( Amy) File, Shelby File, and Nolan File; great grandchildren, Colin and Bryce File; sister-in-law Kathy Sealock and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2021. Memorials are suggested to Epworth United Methodist Church.
