Lillie Margaret-Marie Schneider

Lillie Margaret Marie Schneider, age 94, of Treynor, passed away at her home on November 21, 2017.

She was born in rural Treynor on March 17, 1923 to the late Willy and Emilie (Kaiser) Schmidt. She was baptized and later confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor where she was a lifetime member. She graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1942 and she married George Schneider on April 10, 1944. She and George were charter members of the Wedded Band at St. Paul and she was also a charter member of Mary Martha Circle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Schneider; brother, Oswald Schmidt; sisters, Gertrude Schmidt, Wilma Burger and Elsie Strohbehn.

Lillie is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol and Greg Miller, Janice and Gene Young, Shirley and Jim Chambers, Richard and Margaret Schneider, Alan and Megan Schneider; brother-in-law, Roland Burger; sister-in-law, Betty Schmidt; 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. on Sunday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor. Interment is in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Treynor Fire and Rescue.
