Lina Jean Lawson

Lina Jean Lawson, age 67 of Council Bluffs passed away November 3, 2012. She passed away at the home of her sister Judy, with her family by her side. She was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on March 2, 1945. In addition to her parents, Sidney Weaver Sr. and Nellie (Cunard) Weaver she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Lawson. Jean is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Brian Butch Driver; brother & sister-in-law, Charles and Ole Weaver; brother, Sidney Weaver Jr., nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is Thursday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Friday 11AM at the funeral home. Interment is in Rose Hill Cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa. A reception will follow the burial in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
