Linda Marie Foster Fox, age 74, passed away December 29, 2015, in Harlan, Iowa. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 19, 1941 to the late Wilman and Marie (Mack) Foster. Linda graduated from St. Francis High School with the class of 1959. She worked at Woodmen of the World and Tip Top Curlers in Omaha before meeting and marrying Louis Fox. They were married May 15, 1965 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Later she worked in the kitchen at St. Albert High School and as a cashier at Drugtown Pharmacy. An avid and accomplished bowler, she was inducted into the Iowa Womens Bowling Hall of Fame in 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Edie as well as brothers William Foster and Norman Foster, Sr. Linda is survived by her husband, Louis Fox; daughters, LuAnn Fox (Avian Bear) and Jean Plumb (David); son, Leland Fox (Laura); sister, Shirley Foster; and three granddaughters: Bergan Fox, Kelsey Plumb, and Karley Plumb. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family and friends. Visitation is Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 5:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church 1 Bluff Street in Council Bluffs. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Wings of Hope.
