Lora Sparr

Lora Ellen Sparr, age 64, of Council Bluffs passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

She was born June 10, 1960 to the late Carl and Betty (Walker) Engelking, in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Tri-Center High school with the class of 1978.

Lora was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Betty; her brother, Richard Engelking; and sister, Lana (Engelking) Wellman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gary Sparr; her children and their spouses, Sandra (William) Kemmish, Scott (Tiffany) Sparr, and Stephen (Kimberly) Sparr; and her 7 grandchildren, Rylan, Parker, Emma, Link, Milo, Olivia and Aubree.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
