Loren A. Grashorn

Loren A. Grashorn, age 70, passed away in Council Bluffs on April 30, 2019.

He was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on October 30, 1948, to the late Arthur and Regina (Westermann) Grashorn. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Grashorn and Regina Stump; step father, Cliff Stump; sisters, Janice Chaney and Connie Haynie.

Loren is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan (Marine) Grashorn; children, Michael Grashorn, Julie Laudin, Alex Grashorn; siblings, Vernon Grashorn (Jodene), Shirley Rose, Nancy Cohn (Ken), Kevin Grashorn; brothers-in-law, Mike Chaney, Robin Haynie; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Graveside service is Friday, 9:00 a.m., at the Omaha National Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
