Loren Nusser

Loren H. Nusser, age 98, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital September 12, 2024.

He was born August 8, 1926, to the late Harry and Vera (Knickman) Nusser in Council Bluffs, IA. Loren graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1944. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Nusser; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Nusser.

Loren is survived by his sons, Jim Nusser, Daniel (Martha) Nusser, and Mark Nusser; sisters, Carolyn (Bernard) Bryant and Arleta (Darrell) Young; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Nusser, Matt (Alyssa) Nusser, Jacob (Allison Moritz) Nusser, and Jennifer (Devan) Hitchcock; great grandchildren, Emery, Wyatt, and Ila; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Private burial in the Keg Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Treynor Fire and Rescue.
