Lorene C Jensen

Lorene C. Jensen, age 84, of rural Neola, Iowa passed away July 18, 2017 at CHI Mercy Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born at home near McClelland, Iowa on August 12, 1932 to the late Walter and Viola (Basch) Huelle. Lorene graduated from Oakland Iowa High School with the class of 1950. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Neola - Boomer Township.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jensen; sister, LaVonne Eckhardt; brother, Lester Huelle; son-in-law, Ralph Barnett.

Lorene is survived by her daughter, Connie Barnett; son and daughter-in-law, Darol and Kristi Jensen; grandchildren, Kelli Barnett (Paula), Shawna Hedegaard (Michael), Dana Henry (Zach), Kacee Christiansen (Brian), Devon Jensen (Tyler Wells); great grandchildren, Troy Gordon, Adam Barnett, Megan Barnett, Martin Hedegaard, Emmett Hedegaard, Peighton Henry, Jensen Henry and Bronsyn Henry; brother-in-law, Lyle Jensen (Donna); a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Sunday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to her church.
