Lourean (Lynch) Dickey Driver

Lourean (Lynch) Dickey Driver, age 95 of Council Bluffs passed away August 21, 2013. She was born February 3, 1918 at Worth, Missouri to the late William M. and Mary (Standley) Lynch. Lourean was baptized at age 12 into the Church of Christ at Worth, MO. On July 29, 1934 she married Albert A. Dickey. On August 31, 1969, Lourean married E. Dale Driver in the First Christian Church in Council Bluffs. Dale and Lourean worked hard in the church during the earlier years. They did a lot of traveling and loved to host the family for big dinners. Lourean and Dale moved to Risen Son Christian Village in 1990. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Dickey; son, Marvin A. Dickey; infant daughter, Betty Lou Dickey; grandson, Michael Dickey; brothers, Wilford Lynch and Dale Lynch; sister, Mabel Lynch; step-son, Robert Driver. Lourean is survived by her husband, E. Dale Driver; sons and daughters-in-law, Marion & Sally Dickey and Gary & Jill Dickey; grandsons, Brian Dickey (Krista), Scott Dickey, David Dickey (Kim), Brent Dickey, Kyle Dickey, Mark Dickey (Becky); granddaughters, Tara Perkins (Alex), Kimberly Dickey and Kelly Dickey; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; step-children, Richard Driver (Maria), Carol Kallas, Darlene Bates (Eddie); step grandchildren. Visitation is Monday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Tuesday 10:30AM at the funeral home followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Inurnment is that afternoon in the Grange Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice with Heart, Risen Son Christian Village or First Christian Church.
