Lu-Ann Denise Buffkins was born in Omaha, NE. to William A. and Mary V. Buffkins on June 28, 1954. She was the oldest of five children. She had two brothers and two sisters. She attended Technical High School. She graduated in 1972 with honors. She was also one of the first female who played football in high school, a member of the R.O.T.C. and print shop. She moved to California and Denver to persue a legal career. She returned to Omaha, NE. to be connected to her family. She loved her nieces and nephews often talking about them and praying for there future success. She served her community as a social worker assisting under privileged and disabled children. She loved working on cars. She had a giving heart helping anyone that needed help. Lu-Ann Buffkins slipped away into a new life and went to be with our Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories, three sisters Cherylann, Hollis and Ramona and two Brothers William and Keith all of Omaha, Nebraska a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father William A. Buffkins and mother Mary V. Buffkins.
