Lyle Vernon Pippert

Lyle V. Pippert, age 73, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on November 14, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Mason City, Iowa on April 17, 1942 to the late Arlyn and Luella (Odland) Pippert. Lyle earned an associates degree and worked in communications for nearly 50 years. He was a member of Southview Bible Church. Lyle was also a Mason and Past Master of Trinity Lodge #208 in Davenport, Iowa. Lyle is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roberta Pippert; children, David & Natalee Pippert, Juliane & Marvin Myers, Sarah & Jason Van Wyk, Mary & Michael Brumm; 7 grandchildren. Masonic Service is 5:30p.m. followed by visitation until 8:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment will take place at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday in Davenport, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
