Manuel M. “Manny” Rosas, age 93, passed away September 7, 2016.
He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on March 9, 1923 to late Gabino and Francisca Rosas. Manny proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Manny was a career welder and together with his son founded M&R Welding.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Blaise Rosas and 7 siblings.
Manny is survived by his wife, Margaret Rosas; children, Richard Rosas (Ursula), Jeremiah Rosas (Paulette), Marty Rosas, Lupe Rosas (Ana), Manuel Rosas Jr., Juanita Bencker (Dale); Judy Haines (Pat), Pete Rosas (Sandy); many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rosary Recitation is 4:00p.m. on Sunday followed by visitation until 6:00p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment is in Forest lawn Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
