Margaret Virginia Nixon

Margaret Virginia Nixon, age 91 of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away March 18, 2013 at Jennie Edmundson. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 28, 1921 to the late James and Margaret (Lepley) Miller. Margaret retired from Brandeis Department Store. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Nixon; son, Arden Agnew; brother, James Miller. Margaret is survived by her children, Leonard Nixon, Ronnie Lee Nixon (Alma), Dennis Agnew (Pam), Yvette Jones (Jack), Gary Nixon (Sharon), Susette Townsend (Herb); sisters, Yvonne Stewart and Patricia Cooper; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
