Margit June Elisabeth Hatcher

Margit June Elisabeth Hatcher, age 89, passed away on December 4, 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born in Omaha on June 28, 1926 to John and Anna (Wahlgren) Soderberg. She earned her Bachelors degree from Iowa State University and was a Registered Dietician at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald R. Hatcher; and sisters, Lillian Havens and Birgit Sagers. Margit is survived by her daughter, Kai Lisa Cook and her husband Kenneth; grandsons, Joshua and Brett Probst; nieces, Janit Louise Strother, Margit Elise Verdoorn, and Dr. Margaret H. Neal; nephew, Dr. John R. Havens; other relatives and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Josie Harper Hospice House or the Alzheimers Association.
