Marilyn Louise Schlicht

Marilyn L. Schlicht, age 83, of Logan, IA, passed away on April 30, 2017 at Nebraska Medicine.
She was born in Morton, MN on March 14, 1934 to William and Linda (Ott) Mattke. She was united in marriage to John Schlicht on July 31, 1954 and worked as an administrator at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Lyle, William, and Glen Mattke; sisters, Ruby Ekfelt and Renetta Friberg.
She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Heidi Schlicht, of Logan, IA; son, Dirk Schlicht, of Laguna Hills, CA; sister, Jackie McFarland; many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, 1:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, IA. The family will direct memorials.
