Marilyn Sue Tyson

Marilyn Sue Tyson, age 50, of Council Bluffs, passed away suddenly at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital on April 29, 2015. She was born April 20, 1965 to Harry L. and Shirley Ann (Cain) Tyson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Sara Correa; sister, Mary Ann Riche; and brothers: Tom Tyson, Gale Tyson, and Darrel Tyson. She is survived by significant other, John Bo Hix; daughter, Tomi Fitzsimons; granddaughter, Addison Johnston; brothers: Mike (Diane) Tyson, Bill Tyson, Len Tyson, and Jim Tyson; sisters, Chris (Tim) Waldron and Diane Nelson; sister-in-law, Pat Tyson; special friend, LeAnne Stark; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Marilyn was a loving mother and grandmother. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Colon Cancer Alliance.
