Marjorie Powell-McIntosh

Marjorie A. Powell-McIntosh, age 88, passed away peacefully at Midlands Living Center on March 1, 2025.

She was born July 9, 1936, to the late George and Hazel (Hansen) Knudsen in Harlan, IA. Marjorie graduated from Harlan High School with the class of 1955 and retired from the original Council Bluffs Savings Bank, later known as US Bank. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Powell; second husband, Jerry McIntosh; brother, Delmar Knudsen.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Julie Powell, Rhonda (Jim) Kilday, and Lisa (Mark) Elliott; grandchildren, Jaime (Nate) Harden, Alexander (Courtney) Elliott, and Kyle Elliott; great grandchildren, Ava, Nora, Mila, and Mason.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a memorial service to begin at 11:00 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Memorials are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
