Marvin Seavey

Marvin Dale Seavey, age 73, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away on May 13, 2024, peacefully at his home.

He was born April 6, 1951 in San Antonio, TX to the late Ray and Dorothy (Booker) Seavey.

Marvin served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic. He worked for Western Engineering in Harlan, IA as Quality Control for 12 years and retired in 2012.

Marvin enjoyed Walleye fishing, boating, and traveling to the Caribbean.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diana (Hanna) Seavey; his daughter, Julie Hanson; granddaughters, Morgan Hanson and Reagan Hanson; great grandson, Abel De Jesus; brothers, Jack Booker, David Seavey and wife Sharon; sister Judy Seavey; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration Of His Life, Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Memorials may be offered to Hillcrest Hospice, Council Bluffs.
