Marvin Stokes

Marvin Stokes, age 69, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born on April 21, 1955, to Marvin P. and Louise (Slaughter) Stokes in Toledo, Ohio.

Marvin proudly served in the U.S. Army from June 1976 to June 1979. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to his country through three years of federal service at Echterdingen Airfield in Germany. With a passion for computer electronics, Marvin built a successful career as a highly skilled copier technician and later as a biomedical technician.

He found joy in the outdoors, especially through fishing and hunting. Marvin will be deeply missed by his daughters, Melissa M. Stokes of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Jacqueline C. (Stokes) Gruetzbach of Savannah, Georgia.

Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. The family will direct memorials.
