Mary E. Lusajo

Mary E. Lusajo, age 38, of Council Bluffs passed away April 29, 2017.

She was born in Red Oak, Iowa on January 3, 1979 to Michael and Patricia (Madsen) Delehant. Mary graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1997. After obtaining her BS in education from UNL, Mary taught Spanish at Millard West High School and worked at Iowa Western Community College. She obtained her MBA, and was most recently the Director of HR and Training for Godfather's Pizza Inc and an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Mary is survived by her husband, John Lusajo; children, Elijah, Isaiah and Malaika Lusajo; parents, Michael and Patricia Delehant; siblings, Todd Delehant (Jamie), Michelle Harrison (Joel), Melissa Chambers (Doug), Amy Delehant (Cary Roberts); mother-in-law, N. R. Lema; brother-in-law, Brown Bridon; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church – 239 Frank Street in Council Bluffs. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for Mary’s children’s education.
