Mary Elizabeth Jorgensen

Mary Beth Jorgensen entered into eternal life on May 19, 2023 surrounded by the warmth of her beloved family. She was greeted by her Divine Savior Jesus Christ, and mother and father, Anne and Bob Pope. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jeff who was the love of her life, her siblings; sisters Kathy (Dan) Clifford, Teresa Pope and Maureen (David) Beat, her sister-in-law Pam (Kenny) Wittrock and Jeff's brothers Jon and Aaron Jorgensen. She is also survived by her lifelong BFF Karen (Dave) Williams. Mary was affectionately known as Auntie MB to her nieces and nephews; Lisa (Clifford) Tim Gudenrath, Michaela (Clifford) Andrew Comstock, Kristen Beat and Michael Beat, Mike Wittrock, (Estel), their daughter Kate Lynn (grand niece), Mark Wittrock, Jarrett Jorgensen and Julia Jorgensen. Mary Beth was greeted in Heaven by those who preceded her including her parents, Anne and Bob, Jeff's parents Lorraine Jorgensen and Hans Peter Jorgensen Jr., This third daughter of four had big brown eyes which distinguished her from her sisters. Her parents gifted her their Catholic faith and she attended Holy Name Grade School and Marian High School. Her love of music naturally led to a career in radio. It wasn't until 2002 that she found her true vocation as Director of Underwriting at KVSS Catholic Radio. Because of Mary Beth Jorgensen, her faith touched thousands of people to "Encounter Jesus". Her positivity, perseverance, faith, and the power of prayer sustained her throughout her earthly redemptive suffering.

Visitation at will be 5:00 to 7:30 p.m at St. Patrick Catholic Church (4 Valley View Dr., Council Bluffs, IA) on Friday, May 26, 2023 with vigil and rosary recitation to start at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will at at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 also at St. Patrick Church. In lieu of flowers family will direct memorials in Mary's honor.
