Mary Lou Green

Mary Lou Green, age 81, passed away peacefully at Amelia House September 3, 2024.

She was born January 30, 1943, to the late George and Rose (Coffey) Vergamini in Iowa City, IA. Mary Lou graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and worked with her late husband in their insurance business.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Dick Green; sister-in-law, Kay Vergamini.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Tom Urzendowski; son and his companion, Tony Green & Connie Reifschnieder; siblings, Michael Vergamini, Diane & Randy Shanno, and Sue Vergamini; grandchildren, Sean & Heather Urzendowski, Megan & James Heckart, Alec & Kayla Fleming, Stephanie Green, and Stacie Green; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Goldapp; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, September 08, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024. Interment is in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Midland's Humane Society or Alzhiemer's Association of Southwest Iowa.
