On Monday, March 25, 2019, Max Allen Vance passed away at the age of 67.
Max Allen was born on May 11, 1951 to Max B and the late Nancy Vance. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1969. After attending trade school in Kansas City, he went to work at Denver Midwest. Max then became co-owner of On Time Freight System until his health declined.
Max Allen had a love for cars including his 1969 Chevy Nova SS, which was his baby. He also loved animals, the Huskers, and his family especially his grandkids. He was also actively involved in the Elks as a lodge officer.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy; brother, Mike Vance and sister-in-law, Linda Vance.
He is survived by his four children, Analisa (Trent) Jenkins, Amy (Joe Anderson) Vance, Amber (Ryan) Marnett and Justin Vance. Max is a proud grandfather of five grandchildren, Morgan and Hunter Jenkins, Ayden, Lincoln and Boston Marnett. Son of Max B. Vance, brother of Craig Vance and Peggy (Allen) Fuller; uncle to nieces Heather Olson, Nicole Knowles and Jessica Vance; nephew, Brad Vance. He has several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday April 1, 2019 at 5 pm with visitation to follow at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Midlands Humane Society.
