Melva J. "Penny" Sanders

Melva J. “Penny” Sanders, age 74, of Council Bluffs passed away January 30, 2018. She was born September 15, 1943, in Omaha, to the late Arthur and Doris Fipps.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tim and Larry Fipps.

She is survived by husband, John Sanders; 4 children, Tim Gustin (Sue), Tammy Gustin, Brad Sanders (Michelle), and Vanessa Gaio; 4 grandchildren, Bradley, Heath, Rachel, and Cooper; and 1 great grandchild, Athena.

A celebration of her life will be Tues., April 3, 2018, from 2- 4 p.m., in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Penny’s honor.
