Melva Wood

Melva J. Wood, age 82, passed away peacefully at Risen Son Christian Village June 23, 2024.

She was born January 4, 1942, to the late Orval and LaVerna (Hoffman) Ridnour in New Market, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Chubick; brother, Duane Ridnour.

Melva is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Wood; son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Janelle Wood; sister, Gloria Baldwin; grandchildren, Aaron (Maggie) Wood and Michaela Wood; great grandson, Sylvester Wood; brother-in-law, Otis Chubick; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
