Michael D. Kunik

Michael D. Kunik Sarge, age 62 of Council Bluffs passed away May 9, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Council Bluffs on November 12, 1949 to the late Andrew J. & Phyllis M. (Campbell) Kunik. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Johnna Kunik. Michael proudly served his Country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He later worked as an LPN at Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha. He was a member of the Eagles, the American Legion, VFW and Disabled American Veterans. Michael is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harvey & Teri Kunik; sisters, Carol Walter and Andrea Kunik; many nieces and nephews. The family will direct memorials.
