Michael was born on August 14th, 1956 to Mike Martins and Patricia Bott of Council Bluffs. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Carolyn of 48 years and a great father to their 4 kids: April 47, Jeremy 45, Amanda 40, and Josh 38, whom he shared with the love of his life, Carolyn.
Michael and Carolyn sealed their love for one another on 6/26/76. He joined the Navy in 1975 and served 3 years. He was stationed aboard the USS Guam from Jan 17, 1976 - Oct 18, 1978.
Michael was a hard working man and a provider to his family. He never called in sick to work and his philosophy was, even if you're sick (unless you're contagious) you should be at work. He always picked up extra hours to ensure his family never went without.
He had a love of many things including family, motorcycles, movies, and food. His favorite kind of movies were Westerns. He loved western movies so much that he participated in shootout reenactments for crowds and enjoyed talking to people about the Wild West.
He was the kind of man who would never judge anyone and was always kind to anyone he interacted with. He wore a smile daily and up until his passing, he never complained once.
Michael leaves behind a wife, four children, grandchildren, and his dog Brody.
